Lindsey Vonn: Tiger Woods is ‘dorky-goofy’
Very few people think of Tiger Woods as a “goofy” guy. There’s a reason Tiger looked hilariously awkward last month when he and Matt Kuchar busted out the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” handshake at The President’s Cup. That rare moment of light-heartedness likely didn’t surprise Lindsey Vonn.
Vonn discussed her relationship with Woods on Katie Couric’s show earlier this week. The way she described Tiger may make him a little less intimidating when he wears his red shirt on Sundays.
“He’s funny,” Vonn said when asked what Tiger is like as a person. “He’s really laid back. He’s a great guy, always making jokes, very competitive just like me. We have very similar personalities. If there’s one thing I can say it’s that he’s funny. He’s goofy, like dorky-goofy.
“He’s probably not going to be that excited that I just said that.”
I hate to have to go here, but this is the same Tiger Woods who was bagged sexting things like “I’m Blasian” with smiley faces next to it during his infamous sex scandal days. He may be incredibly serious on the golf course, but in a way we kind of knew he was dorky.
