Golfer concerned Rory McIlroy could be getting too big
Ex-girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki got Rory McIlroy into working out and fitness, and the golfer has not looked back since.
McIlroy has become noticeably bigger and more muscular over the past few years thanks to his new focus on his body. He even boasts on Twitter about his rigorous workouts:

With his muscular body type and focus on practicing more following his split with Woz, McIlroy went on to have a great golf season, including winning two majors.
Though the muscles seemed to have worked well for McIlroy, one golfer thinks they could become a problem.
An anonymous pro had this to say to Golf.com in a roundtable:
“Plus, I’m concerned with how hard he’s hitting the weights. He’s getting big, and it could affect his game, the way it did with Tiger. Have you seen him on Twitter? He’s ripped. The guy weighs 160 and hits it 340 yards. How much bigger does he need to be?”
This was the same issue with Tiger. Woods became ripped too and then started going downhill. People wondered whether he had become too big and muscular at the expense of flexibility. And there were even people who thought he juiced.
McIlroy seems to enjoy lifting, but hopefully he won’t take it too an extreme.
