Rory McIlroy shot ends up in fan’s pocket (Video)
A shot Rory McIlroy hit during the second round of the Tour Championship in Atlanta on Friday somehow found its way into a spectator’s pocket. Seriously.
McIlroy was allowed to take a drop, reached the green and then two-putted to save par on the par-4 14th hole. Being able to take a drop was a relief for McIlroy.
“I know how sweaty my pockets are. I’m not going into anyone else’s,” he said.
McIlroy is tied with two others for second at two shots behind the leader, Billy Horschel. Hopefully the world No. 1 golfer hooked up the fan with some cool goodies.
