Tiger Woods reportedly hitting drivers, further along in recovery
Tiger Woods reportedly is further along in his recovery than we were led to believe.
On Tuesday a report said that Woods’ back condition had worsened, making it harder for the golfer to move around. Tiger responded by posting a video the following day showing him taking a practice swing that looked good (watch here).
Tiger hit an iron in the practice swing he shared, but he apparently is doing more than that.
Golf Digest’s Tim Rosaforte reports that Tiger is hitting drivers and is “further along in his recovery than we were led to believe.”
Woods reportedly wasn’t hitting drivers full speed, but he was hitting drivers. The golfer’s agent would not comment on the story, only referring people to the video Tiger posted on Wednesday.
Woods last played an event in August when he tied for 10th at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina. He failed to make the cut at three majors last year.
