Johnny Weir and husband Victor Voronov call off divorce
They don’t call him Johnny Drama for nothing.
Figure skater Johnny Weir sent husband Victor Voronov divorce papers last month, but the two are attempting to reconcile. TMZ says Weir was in LA shooting a show this weekend and plans to move back into the couple’s home Monday. But there are supposedly strings attached to the reconciliation.
TMZ explains that Victor wants Johnny to sign a document agreeing to publicly apologize for all the nasty things he said about his spouse. And Weir supposedly needs to agree to have his mother stay out of their business and finances.
I suppose it’s nice and all that they’re trying to have their love conquer all, but once you have a nasty split the way they did, that’s a pretty good indicator that things are unstable and won’t work out long term. But you can’t blame them for giving it another shot!
