Linsdey Vonn reportedly sat in car for an hour while Tiger Woods watched his daughter play baseball
Tiger Woods publicly confirmed on Monday that he is dating Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, but as you might expect that is not going to stop the tabloids and gossip magazines from leaving the couple alone. On the same day Tiger confirmed the relationship, we already had gossip reporters all up in Woods’ personal business.
According to the NY Post’s Page Six, Tiger attended his daughter’s junior baseball game in Jupiter, Fla. with Vonn on Monday — sort of. Vonn reportedly sat in Woods’ black Mercedes for an hour while the golfer watched his daughter play. The Post speculates that Vonn may have been trying to avoid a run-in with Tiger’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren, who was also reportedly in attendance but sat at the opposite side of the ballpark.
While the fun thing to do would be to speculate that the 28-year-old skier was scared of Nordegren and was afraid she might wind up in a cat fight, I highly doubt that was the case. In reality, Tiger and Elin were probably just doing what they thought was best for their daughter. Nordegren has reportedly moved on and is dating a billionaire coal magnate, so jealously probably isn’t an issue. Divorce can be incredibly difficult for children to understand. Being introduced to daddy’s new girlfriend at a baseball game would likely be even harder.
