Rory McIlroy calls Caroline Wozniacki ‘my girl’ in tweet
Caroline Wozniacki notched the 21st victory of her career at the Luxembourg Open on Sunday. If you believe one of the latest gossip reports from the Irish Independent, she did so as a devastated, recently-single young woman. A tweet Rory McIlroy sent out after the victory threw more water on that fire.

You don’t have to be an FBI agent to connect those dots. While Wozniacki firmly denied the recent breakup rumors, McIlroy dodged questions about it and said he is planning to keep his private life private from now on. He was probably better off not answering the questions, since nothing the couple does or says is going to stop bogus reports from surfacing.
When Caroline and Rory go a couple months without smooching in front of an entire football team or exchanging corny gifts, speculation runs wild. You’d think media outlets would give up on the whole breakup thing unless the quote comes directly from one of the two lovebirds, but I doubt that’s going to happen any time soon.
