Chatsworth QB James Dorado refuses to go down on incredible 53-yard touchdown (Video)

James Dorado touchdownHigh school quarterback James Dorado scored an awesome touchdown on a QB sneak that he turned into a 53-yard score during a Los Angeles City Section playoff game on Friday night.

According to the YouTube description, this play came on a 4th-and-1 in the fourth quarter of Chatsworth High School’s LA City Section Division II semifinal game against San Fernando. Dorado runs into a pileup but gets a nice push from his teammates, and San Fernando never bothered to tackle him. He broke into the open field and was chased down, but he managed to continue forward despite having four guys on him. The finishing touch was Dorado looking like Spike from “Little Giants” while dragging a guy into the end zone. It was an awesome run.

Despite Dorado’s heroics, San Fernando beat Chatsworth 24-17 and will face South Gate in the finals. San Fernando actually has a quarterback named Cristian Solano who recently received a scholarship offer from Nevada and committed to the Wolfpack. With the way he’s been playing all season, it’s no surprise that his 13-0 Tigers won the game and are favored in the final. It remains to be seen if Dorado can put together a nice career similar to former Chatsworth quarterback Matt Cassel.
