Kevin Fiala: Predators’ double OT win ‘shows great character’
The Nashville Predators pulled off a big win on Sunday night against the Winnipeg Jets thanks to a huge goal from Kevin Fiala.
Fiala scored just over five minutes into the second overtime to give the Predators a 5-4 victory that tied their second-round playoff series at a game apiece.

Nashville blew a 4-3 lead late in the game that sent things to overtime. From there it took another 25 minutes for a winner to be decided. Fiala says winning in that fashion “shows great character.”
Kevin Fiala: “It just shows great character. When they tied it up late it was kind of like ‘we don’t care.’ We just didn’t give up.” #Preds

Getting the win was big because the series now heads to Winnipeg for Game 3. Had they lost, they would have been in danger of seeing the series end in a sweep.
