Kings barely miss on tying goal vs Rangers (Video)

The Kings and Rangers are going to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals after the Rangers won Game 4 2-1 by the thinnest of margins.

The Kings were relentless in their attacks during the third period, but they were unable to tie the game. The closest they came to a goal was with nearly a minute left when an Alec Martinez shot was redirected in front of Henrik Lundqvist with 1:15 left in the game. The puck squirted through Lundqvist’s legs and ended up about an inch short of becoming a goal.

Derek Stepan used his glove to brush the puck away, and the Rangers barely avoided allowing the tying goal. The Kings had a couple of players in front of the net trying to poke it in, but they couldn’t get it done.

Now the series returns to LA where the Kings can close it out in Game 5 in front of their fans.
