Michal Neuvirth was not feeling well prior to collapsing
Michal Neuvirth collapsed on the ice during the first period of Philadelphia’s game against New Jersey on Saturday, causing great concern.
There was a faceoff by the blue line with the Flyers up 1-0 on the Devils when the Flyers goalie just fell over backwards.

Neuvirth was taken off the ice on a stretcher.
After the period, Philly right winger Colin McDonald said Neuvirth was not feeling well in the locker room before the game.

Despite the scary situation, Neuvirth did wave to the crowd before being taken off the ice, so that was at least a positive sign.
