LA landmark Randy’s Donuts gives away free donuts to Kings fans
The LA Kings took a commanding 3-1 series lead with a 5-2 victory in Game 4 of their Western Conference finals series with the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday, and one LA landmark is celebrating the win with the fans.
Randy’s Donuts, a well-known doughnut shop in LA featuring an iconic, over-sized doughnut out front, is giving away free glazed doughnuts to fans who stop by the shop between 7 and 8 am on Tuesday morning.
The shop also covered the iconic doughnut to make it look like a hockey puck as part of a cool partnership with the Kings.
“Randy’s Donuts is honored and excited to partner with the Kings and to transform our iconic donut into a special Kings hockey puck in support of this historic run toward the Stanley Cup. The hope is our sign stays a puck throughout the playoffs, culminating with another Stanley Cup victory for the L.A. Kings,” said co-owner of Randy’s Donuts Larry Weintraub in a team statement.
Kings wins and free doughnuts? What’s there not to love about this?
