Craig Carton reportedly arrested by FBI on fraud-related charges
Longtime radio host Craig Carton was arrested on Wednesday morning in reported relation to a white-collar crime.
Sources told the New York Daily News that FBI agents arrested Carton on investment fraud-related charges. WABC in New York later reported that the arrest stems from the sale of fake discount tickets, in which several million dollars were defrauded from investors in the alleged scheme.
Carton, 48, has been the co-host of the popular “Boomer and Carton Show” on WFAN in New York since 2007. He’s known for his brash attitude and once infamously lambasted golf swing coach Hank Haney back in 2012.
The U.S. District Court Southern District of New York is expected to release more information on the arrest Wednesday,
