Lesnar, who hardly ever leaves his home, showed up ringside for the main event between Junior dos Santos and Frank Mir. His attendance prompted several inquiries from reporters at the postfight press conference about a possible comeback. UFC boss Dana White confirmed that Lesnar is interested in a comeback.
While Dana White was non-committal with his responses to questions, you could see he was open to having Lesnar back in the UFC. It’s easy to understand why; Lesnar is one of the top heavyweights in the world, and the UFC’s biggest pay-per-view draw.
Lesnar has been wrestling for the WWE since saying he was retiring from MMA after losing to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 last December. Fighters frequently say one thing after they just got their heads beat in, but many of them tend to feel an itch to return to the sport several months later.
