Conor McGregor shows off black eye after Khabib fight
Khabib Nurmagomedov got the best of Conor McGregor when he won by submission in the 4th round Saturday night, but he landed some big shots on the Irishman as well. We know this because McGregor has the shiner to prove it.
On Monday, McGregor shared a photo of himself on Twitter that shows he has a black eye. He said he lost the battle against Khabib but “the war goes on.”

Of course, it’s hard to tell if McGregor got the black eye during his fight against Khabib or after. After Nurmagomedov choked out McGregor, he fired his mouthpiece at McGregor’s team and climbed out of the cage to attack them. Some members of Khabib’s team then climbed into the Octagon and landed a few shots on McGregor.
McGregor said over the weekend that he is “looking forward to the rematch” with Khabib, but there will be a lot of issues for Dana White to sort through before that can happen.
