Jon Jones mocks reporters for covering his probation story
Jon Jones mocked the media for covering a story about him potentially breaking his probation terms.
Jones was cited on Jan. 31 for allegedly driving without a license, proof of insurance or proof of registration. He is currently on 18 months of probation stemming from a felony hit-and-run incident in April, meaning he cannot break the law.
In response to stories about the matter, Jones sent the following tweets which mocked people for reporting on the story:
Lol either I'm really just that important or journalists are starving these day https://t.co/WTCKmabk88

I'm interested to see how many "journalists" show up to the court room on Wednesday to report this career changing masterpiece.

Jones will not be charged by officials in New Mexico for violating his probation. His team says he was cited for speeding and that he is registered and insured.
This is typical of Jones to think he’s bigger than the law. His team continues to enable him. He got off without much penalty for a serious offense of a hit-and-run, and now nothing is happening here.
