MMA fighter disqualified after using beaten opponent to launch flip (Video)
Things got a bit strange at Friday night’s LFA 36 event in California.
A heavyweight bout between Drew Chatman and Irvins Ayala turned a bit silly when Ayala drove himself into Chapman’s knee, seemingly finishing the fight. Chapman wasn’t content — he decided to use a dazed Ayala to launch himself into a front-flip, which, it turns out, gets you disqualified.

Better than going after the ref, it seems, but still not cool. All in all, it’s a rather bizarre way to win a fight, but Ayala probably won’t mind once the dust settles.
