Ronda Rousey says she once beat up two guys at a movie theater
Ronda Rousey is probably more dangerous walking around on the streets than she is in the octagon. The consensus No. 1 pound-for-pound female MMA fighter in the world has the ability to look extremely intimidating or quite attractive. Simply put, it would be very hard to tell that Rousey can beat your a– if you saw her walking around the mall.
On Monday night, Rousey went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and talked about a time when her impossible-to-predict toughness came in handy. It all started when she was at the movies seeing “Juno” and a young lady who was sitting behind her put her feet on Rousey’s chair. Rousey said the group the girl was with was obnoxious throughout the entire movie, and she took the girl’s boot off and threw it at her after the movie ended. She can take it from there.
“I tried to leave and (a guy she was with) pushed me back,” she said. “I was already thinking about my disclaimer at that point. So I was thinking, “OK, I’m going to try to get past you. If you do not let me, I’m going to have to do something about this.’ I was very clam about it.”
“I tried to get past again and the guy pushed me. I grabbed him by the shirt and I just started punching him with one hand. Then his friend came behind me and had me by the neck. So I had his one friend here (motions where she’s punching) and I dropped that one dude and threw the other guy over my shoulder.”
After that, Rousey says everyone backed off. Shocking, I know. Looking back on it, it seems like that fan who asked Ronda the sex question a few months back got off easy.
