NFL picks Week 7 against the spread – Doc’s selections

Doc is starting to post some respectable percentages on his season picks and has been on a roll the past three weeks. With just another week or two of good picks, we’ll be back at our usual expert level.

So let’s take a look at the NFL picks for Week 7 against the spread and straight up, with analysis below.

NFL PICKS WEEK 7

Week 7 picks

The Doc is digging the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sure, you’re probably wondering why the Doc would jump on that dumpster fire, but the Atlanta Falcons are in equally as bad shape. They’ve lost Julio Jones for the season, and now Roddy White and Steven Jackson won’t be playing. They’re nowhere near the same team without those receivers. They may still win the game, but they’re not the vaunted Falcons without those weapons. The Bucs should be able to hang.

The Chicago Bears have gone 1-2 after their 3-0 start, which has people down on them. Plus they didn’t look so hot against the New York Giants last Thursday. The Doc recognizes that, but they’re still a better team than the Redskins. Washington has some potential to get on track especially playing at home, but the Bears are just straight up better.

The Doc is salivating over the Kansas City Chiefs’ matchup with the Houston Texans. You really telling us that the Chiefs get to face rookie Case Keenum at home and only have to give six points? Man, is that generous. The Chiefs have probably the best defense in the league. They were in Terrelle Pryor’s head all last week like your favorite pop song. They’re going to eat Keenum alive. Not an easy draw for one’s first start.
