NFL Picks Week 4 – Del’s Selections
On Thursday, Doc Brown posted his Week 4 NFL picks. If you look at Del’s picks this week you might be inclined to think he copied the Doc on almost all games straight up. However, with a six-pick lead in the SU category, I can assure you that’s not the case (no offense, Doc). It’s just one of those weeks where a lot of match-ups across the league look pretty one-sided. Fear not, followers of the Doc and Del rivalry — there’s still plenty of differences against the spread to wrap your brain around.
For one, I just can’t see the 49ers getting blown out again. I think Atlanta will beat them because they’re one of the toughest teams in the NFC at home, but after firing their offensive coordinator I think San Francisco will try to open things up a bit more and should stay in the game. The Raiders are coming off a loss to the Cardinals. The Cardinals are not very good. The Texans lost to a desperate Cowboys squad last week and I see them getting back on track. And finally, I just don’t have any confidence in the Pats being able to win on the road. They haven’t shown they can do it and until they do I have a tough time picking them when they’re somehow favored away from home. Onto the selections:
