NFL Week 6 expert picks against the spread – Doc’s locks

Doc Brown continues to bring it with his picks this season. Doc is hitting at 57 percent against the spread and 75 percent on locks. It’s hard to top those marks.

Doc looks to keep it rolling in Week 6. You can see his selections below.

Doc was confounded by some of these games. Green Bay only giving 3.5 at Miami? Why does that feel like a trap? Is it because the Dolphins are coming off a bye and should be prepared for it? Is it because the Packers are going on the road and just proved themselves with a big win last weekend? Doc picked the Packers, but that could be a trap.

A few other picks of note: the Doc is going against the public by going with two terrible teams. Yes, the Doc has a death wish and picked the Raiders and Jets plus the points. Why the Jets? Their defense should do enough to keep the Broncos’ score down, and the offense will luck out with a touchdown and field goal or so. Maybe it will be a 17-10 loss, which would be good enough to cover. Oakland should also be better off with Tony Sparano as head coach rather than Dennis Allen. He buried a ball, the team had a week off, and they should have a fresh start with him. They’ll probably play *improved* football for a few weeks before slipping back to being terrible.

The three games the Doc was considering locking this week were the Seahawks, Eagles and Rams. Doc settled on the Eagles as a lock of the week. They’re going to be pumped up for this one while the Giants’ offensive tear will come to a halt. Well, at least they won’t keep up with Philly. That’s the pick.
