Week 15 expert NFL Picks against the spread – Del’s selections

Del is aiming to close out the 2015 season with a bang, and a 12-4 record against the spread in Week 14 is a great way to get the stretch run started. Our lock of the week was once again good, getting us back into the green on locks and well above the 50-percent mark with over ATS picks.

Let’s keep it rolling.

Who picks against a 13-0 team and calls it a lock? Del does, that’s who. We all know how difficult it is to run the table in the NFL. We also know how much Tom Coughlin and the Giants thrive in this situation. New York is tied for the lead in the NFC East and fighting for a playoff spot. The Panthers are banged up, with Jonathan Stewart expected to miss Sunday’s game and Greg Olsen battling a minor knee injury that could also keep him out. The Giants, who famously ended the Patriots’ undefeated season in 2008 and beat them again in the Super Bowl as sizable underdogs a few years later, absolutely love playing spoiler. I wouldn’t be surprised if they won this game outright, so five points sounds good to me.

This certainly isn’t the same Saints team we have seen in years past, but anyone who has followed picks on LBS knows that Del loves picking the Saints to cover at home in primetime games. There’s no reason not to keep that going in this spot. By beating a determined Bucs team last week, the Saints showed they are not packing it in. The Lions are not very good this year despite showing some signs of life recently. Drew Brees should be able to get his team up for this game and put up a ton of points.
