Anna Benson allegedly was strapped with a gun, ammo belt, knife, bulletproof vest
The details behind Anna Benson’s alleged armed intrusion at ex-husband Kris’ home on Sunday are pretty frightening.
We passed along the report on Monday saying Anna was arrested on four counts, including two felonies, for going over to Kris’ home in the middle of the night with a gun and demanding money. As bad as that story sounds, it gets worse.
According to the police report, the wife of the former New York Mets pitcher went to her ex’s home wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a handgun, metal baton, knife, and ammo belt. She allegedly threatened Kris with the gun and demanded $30,000.
Per the report, Anna denied pulling out the gun but admitted to breaking Kris’ computer with her baton. Kris told police that she pulled out the gun but did not aim it at him.
Kris told police he fled to the basement of the Marietta, Ga., home, called 911, and then ran out of the house to hide in the woods. Police supposedly found Anna on the back porch smoking a cigarette when they arrived at the home. When told Kris called the cops, she allegedly hissed “He’s a f—ing p—y.”
She’s a real charmer, isn’t she?
In addition to the Taurus handgun and red “Batman” folding knife, police also recovered a black hatchet, black baton, black taser, 13 rounds of ammunition, a bag of syringes and eight pills, per the New York Post.
Anna, 37, and Kris, 38, are in the process of divorcing. Kris filed for the divorce after Anna learned he was cheating on her.
