Jailene Diaz-Ramos arrested three times in past year

Jailene Diaz Ramos

Jailene Diaz-Ramos, the woman who was in possession of the gun used in the 2012 double murder linked to Aaron Hernandez, has quite an arrest record.

Diaz-Ramos was involved in a car crash on June 21 that led police to search her vehicle, which is how they found the gun, per CBS 3 Springfield. The gun was later tested and matched up to the one used in a 2012 drive-by shooting in Boston that may have involved the former New England Patriots tight end.

In the months prior to the crash, Diaz-Ramos was arrested multiple times.

On Nov. 5, Jailene Diaz-Ramos, 19, of 95 Carolina Road, Bristol, was charged with first degree forgery, criminal impersonation and sixth degree larceny. Bond was set at $5,000 with a Nov. 19 court date, per The Plainville Observer. As best as we can tell, the docket for that case has been sealed.

Diaz-Ramos appears in the New Britain Police arrest reports on two subsequent occasions.

On Feb. 13, Diaz-Ramos appears in the New Britain arrest report twice for a failure to appear in court. The first violation was in the first degree, which is a felony. The second was in the second degree, which is a misdemeanor.

Just over two months later, on April 29, Diaz-Ramos was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

CBS 3 Springfield reports that Diaz-Ramos told police the gun found in her car following the crash belonged to a friend she referred to as “Chicago”. She reportedly told police she drove Chicago and his friends to work, and that they are football players.

The players supposedly left a briefcase containing the gun in her trunk because they didn’t want to bring it into work.

As we have now seen multiple times since the investigation began, Hernandez keeps some pretty shady company.
