Peru eliminates Brazil on controversial hand ball goal (Video)
Peru beat Brazil 1-0 in their Group B Copa America game on Sunday after scoring a goal late on a hand ball.
Raul Ruidiaz scored in the 75th minute for the lone goal of the game, but it appeared the ball deflected off his hand inside the box. Watch:

It certainly looked like the ball went off Ruiz’s arm before going to his thigh where it was redirected into the net.
The goal was extremely significant as the 1-0 win means Peru wins their group, while Brazil is eliminated. Ecuador will join Peru in moving on to the knockout round.
