Tottenham Hotspurs Twitter trolls Liverpool after collapse
The person running the Tottenham Hotspurs Twitter account decided to troll Liverpool on Monday by sending out a barb regarding the Reds’ collapse against Crystal Palace.
Liverpool was leading 3-0 and allowed Crystal Palace to score three goals in 9 minutes to tie the game. Liverpool is still a point up on Man City, though Man City has a game in hand in the standings.
Whoever was running the Spurs’ Twitter account sent out a tweet containing the Vine video at the top showing some of the recent embarrassing moments by Liverpool.
“Brutal but very funny. The biggest capitulation since Newcastle in the 90s,” the tweet read.
Naturally, the Spurs sent out an apology and suggested there may have been a security breach:
We are currently looking into a security issue where our official Vine account has been compromised.

Either that, or some overeager intern decided to have a little fun on the social media account.
