50 Cent really is a master troll. The guy loves screwing with former best buddy Floyd Mayweather Jr. and has no chill. On Wednesday, 50 hit Floyd with possibly his best burn yet.
Playing off the whole saga over Floyd’s supposed inability to read, 50 posted this great meme with Manny Pacquiao on Instagram.
Things have gotten so bad that Floyd’s publicist sent out a note and video to the media this week assuring everyone that Floyd can, in fact, read.
Don’t forget that shortly after breaking up with Floyd, 50 started buddying up with Pacquiao. These hanger-on rappers ain’t loyal!
Floyd Mayweather Jr. finally fired back at 50 Cent on Saturday following several days of criticism.
The saga between them started when 50 told Floyd he would donate $750,000 to the charity of Mayweather’s choice if the champ could read a single page of a Harry Potter book without struggling. An old audio recording from a radio show later surfaced that featured Mayweather struggling to read some promos for the station.
What does Money Mayweather have to say about all this? He posted the photo you see above on Instagram, which shows two paychecks he received from recent fights. Most of us will never see that many zeros on a check in our lives.
“Read this $72,276,000.00,” Mayweather wrote. “God bless.”
Floyd may struggle with reading, but his math is pretty good. He may lack certain skills that we learn in grade school, but Mayweather certainly knows how to make money. No one can deny that.
50 Cent brought us his own version of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Thursday, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. probably isn’t going to appreciate it. Rather than dumping a bucket of ice water over his head, 50 has offered to donate $750,000 to the charitable organization of Mayweather’s choice if Floyd can read one page of a “Harry Potter” book without messing up.
“Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or f—ing up. lmao,” he wrote on Instagram along with the video you see above.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with their history, Mayweather and 50 Cent used to be best friends until they had a falling out. They have been cordial toward one another in the past, but 50 seems to be determined to get under Mayweather’s skin lately. The rapper was one of the people who called out Mayweather after Floyd shouted at T.I.’s wife on the red carpet at the BET Awards.
It should be noted that the Ice Bucket Challenge is a social media movement that has helped raise money and awareness for ALS, which is also known as Lou Gherig’s Disease. If 50 is willing to pay Floyd $750,000 if Mayweather proves he can read, we’re hoping he at least donates some money to the ALS Foundation.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. got the internet buzzing once again on Sunday night when he shouted at T.I.s wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle on the red carpet at the BET Awards. Mayweather may have just been trying to say hello to Tiny, but she reportedly went out of her way to avoid him. 50 Cent feels that Floyd did enough where he needs to be told to back off.
On Monday night, 50 posted a couple of messages and a video on Instagram telling Mayweather to leave Tiny alone.
“Now what the f— is champ doing with TI woman again,” 50 Cent wrote alongside the photo you see above. “He think sh– sweet man DAMN. Leave the man lady alone floyd. I’m call you to talk.”
50 then wrote, “Floyd you better STOP, that is the man WIFE. LMAO this is gonna get out of control. MO took miss J not TI,” and posted a video message. The video contains some very strong language.

50 Cent’s first pitch at a Mets-Pirates game last week was one of the worst ceremonial first pitches we’ve ever seen. It was so bad it went partway up the first base line and nearly hit a photographer, and it left the entertainer giving a pretty bizarre explanation for it. But the pitch wasn’t so bad that Vladimir Guerrero wouldn’t have been able to get a piece of it.
The folks over at MLB FanCave took the 50 Cent first pitch and knew exactly what to do with it, splicing in the former Angels MVP and notorious bad-ball hitter getting a double on it.
How clever and awesome was that?
But wait! MetsKevin11 may have 1-upped the Vlad video. Here’s 50 Cent striking out Bartolo Colon:
As the entire world has seen by now, 50 Cent threw out the worst ceremonial first pitch of all time last week before a New York Mets game. The toss was so bad rumors have been circulating that 50, who has a new album coming out, intentionally threw a terrible pitch just to gain some publicity. The rapper has put those rumors to rest with a bang.
On Tuesday, 50 Cent held an AMA (Ask Me Anything) segment on Reddit. When someone asked him what happened with the pitch, he said the embarrassing result has to do with “excessive masturbation.”
Was he joking? Most likely. Did he have that answer planned going into the AMA? Absolutely. But what can you say to something like that? If the guy’s shoulder was bothering him because he was tugging it so much, you have to respect him for owning up to it. These things happen.

As you have probably seen through every major media outlet in America by now, 50 Cent threw out arguably the worst first pitch of all time before the New York Mets game on Tuesday. Can anyone who has a functioning arm really miss home plate that badly? According to one report, the rapper intentionally botched it.
“He did it so he would get all the press,” a source reportedly told Stephanie Smith of the New York Post’s Page Six. “He’s got a new album coming out, a new TV show on Starz and he wants to launch a tour.”
A graphic that has gone viral shows that 50’s first pitch may have actually been the worst ever.

The rapper’s people say it was excitement that caused the horrendous throw, not a thirst for publicity.
“It’s apparent in his excitement on the mound that he released the ball too early, clearly not a stunt,” one of 50 Cent’s reps said.
To be honest, I had this in the back of my mind from the start. No one can be that bad. It just doesn’t make sense.
