Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias reportedly were cheating on each other

Enrique Iglesias Anna Kournikova

Last week we shared a report saying Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias were “on the rocks” after 12 years together. Well it looks like they’re officially over. OK! Magazine says the two have broken up.

So what was the issue with them? Apparently they were both cheating on each other.

A website called “Blind Gossip,” which posts blind gossip items that contain clues in their stories, posted a story on Oct. 2 — the day after Page Six’s report on Kournikova and Iglesias was published — that a “beautiful couple” was about to break up.

In their blind item, they used terms that would apply to Kournikova and Iglesias, such as “love match,” which is a play on Kournikova’s tennis career, “track record” which is another sports term, and “mole” because Iglesias used to have a distinctive mole.

Blind Gossip included these nuggets in their story:

Anna Kournikova, Enrique Iglesias reportedly ‘on the rocks’

Enrique Iglesias Anna Kournikova

The relationship between Anna Kournikova and singer Enrique Iglesias is “on the rocks,” according to a report from the New York Post’s Page Six.

Kournikova and Iglesias have been together for 12 years but are not married. There was speculation earlier this year that the two were going to get married, but Iglesias’ people say that’s not the case.

The lack of formal commitment from Iglesias supposedly is the root of the issue for Kournikova.

“Anna is getting tired of waiting for him to decide if he wants to marry her or not. They’ve been together for so long, she feels like it’s never going to happen. She is ready to move on,” a source supposedly told Page Six.

If Kournikova has spent 12 years with Iglesias despite him never proposing, why would she suddenly have a problem with it now? The Post often has shaky sources, so we’ll take this report lightly until we see something more concrete.

And if there really are problems between the two, there’s nothing that four minutes and 30 seconds of crooning couldn’t fix. Just play her this, Enrique:

Anna Kournikova off NBC’s ‘Biggest Loser,’ Said to Be a Nightmare to Work With

Those of you who are big Anna Kournikova fans should proceed with caution. Kournikova is known for being easy on the eyes, and there are many who know her for her attractiveness more so than her tennis ability. Despite having never won a tournament, Kournakova insists she is proud of what she accomplished during a tennis career that was cut short by a back injury at age 21.  I wonder if she’ll look back on The Biggest Loser and have similar thoughts.

Anna was hired as a trainer and life coach on the NBC program for season 12, but according to The Hollywood Reporter she will not be returning for season 13.

But staffers say they clashed with her, and some of the contestants found her a bit brash. Whereas Michaels was soothing, encouraging and even uplifting, Kournikova did not sympathize with her overweight contestants, often telling them about her own tough upbringing when they complained about training being hard.

A source on the show actually called Kournikova “a nightmare.” She would definitely not have been mistaken for a life coach.

Apparently patience is not Kournikova’s strong suit.  Considering it’s pretty much the most important thing to have on a show like The Biggest Loser, you can understand why she is now off the show.  Although she issued a statement through her reps saying that she will always be a part of The Biggest Loser family and remains committed to “bettering lives through health and fitness,” we all know the truth: It’s a fat people’s world — Anna just isn’t down with it.

Anna Kournikova Is Proud of What She Achieved in Her Tennis Career

Anna Kournikova is considered by many to be an athlete whose popularity far exceeded her talent. Before she was a trainer on the weight loss reality TV show The Biggest Loser, Kournikova played tennis and infamously never won a tournament. Despite that fact, she told People in a recent interview that she is proud of what she achieved during her playing career.

“I am not a robot,” she says. “I have feelings, but I know that I did my best. I am very proud of what I have achieved.”

Kournikova spoke at length about the back injury that ended her career at the age of 21.

“I never planned or thought that was going to be it. My back really forced me to stop. It got so bad; I couldn’t tie my shoes, literally. I would be in excruciating pain. I had been doing six to eight hours [of training] every day since I was 5 years old.”

The former player says it took her a long time to figure out her identity after she stopped playing tennis. She eventually transitioned from tennis to modeling, and charity work, before ending up as a television personality.

Critics will once again take the shortcut and point to Kournikova never winning a tournament to laugh at her statement. I’ve always disagreed. It’s unfair to cut down her entire career based on that fact.

Did Anna Kournikova Get a Boob Job?

Last I wrote about Anna K. here at LBS, it was to pass along sad rumors that the hot lady was getting engaged. Now that was a sore subject for me, so it’s about time we moved onto something that can bring a smile to all of our faces — Anna’s breasts. Sports by Brooks shares some recent photos of Ms. Kournikova suggesting she might have had her chest surgically enhanced. Check it out:

Now if you ask me, there’s no question about it — she got some work done. But at the same fashion show where that picture was taken, there was also another one that would corroborate Anna’s claims she’s never had any work done. Judge for yourself

Anna Kournikova Might Be Engaged

Like I posted at FanHouse, the rumors are floating that Anna Kournikova might have gotten engaged to Enrique Iglesias. I for one, am not a fan of this news. Last we heard, Iglesias had no plans to marry or have kids with Kournikova (thank goodness). But now the reports say the two could be engaged:

Enrique Iglesias has sparked rumours he has proposed to long-term girlfriend ANNA KOURNIKOVA, after the tennis ace was spotted wearing a $6 million (£3 million) engagement ring.

The singer has previously refused to confirm the couple is engaged, but the sportswoman was photographed in London wearing a diamond on her left hand on Tuesday (04Dec07) in London.

Well, I have heard of waitresses wearing rings on their fingers to avoid being hit on all the time. Somehow I think this is slightly different. From Pavel Bure to Sergei Federov and now Enrique Iglesias, I’ve survived many rumors before. Don’t worry, Anna, I’ll still be here when you’re done with that chump.

Danica Patrick Wants to Shake Anna Kournikova Comparisons

Truthfully, I never thought there was anything wrong with Anna Kournikova comparisons. Chick is extremely beautiful, better looking than most models, so I thought it was a smart idea for her to switch professions. And when she played, she was pretty outstanding. She was a Top 10 player in the world. That’s pretty commendable where I come from. So just why Danica wants to end the Anna K comparisons, I’m not quite sure.

“I see the parallels,” the American told Reuters. “But you know what, it’s surface stuff.

“For one, I’m competing against guys so right off the bat it’s different.

“I’m not so worried about that first win, I want it to come, I want it to be over with but I’ve been racing up front every weekend and that’s a big relief for me because the wins will come.

“Hey and let’s not forget she (Kournikova) was pretty darn good too.”

See, she’s right — they both are pretty darn good. Patrick’s still getting Top 10 finishes in IRL, and Kournikova was a Top 10 player in the world. On top of being attractive? What’s wrong with that? And as far as Danica’s concerned, I guess until she wins the stigma will be there. She might need to grab a snickers, but at least she’s in good company as far as I’m concerned.
