Much like Rory McIlroy’s girlfriend, Ellie Harvey, the wife of golfer Jason Day, got a lot of attention from fans watching the Masters on CBS.

Ellie Harvey and Jason Day were married in the fall of 2009, and there’s a great story about Day nailing a hole-in-one at her request in 2008. Day is Australian while Harvey is from Ohio, but the two met through Day’s coach and caddie, Col Swatton, according to the PGA’s site. Jason Sobel has more info on the couple, saying “they met five years ago when she was waitressing at a restaurant in Twinsburg, Ohio, but didn’t start seriously dating until coincidentally running into each other a few years later.”

Even though Day came up short in the Masters, there is little doubt many fans now have a new favorite golfer, thanks to his wife, Ellie Day. Day is the latest addition to the long list of our smokin hot sports girlfriends, go here to see them all.

Word has it Aaron Rodgers spoke with Tom Brady recently, and Tom told him there’s much more to winning a Super Bowl MVP than some jewelry and hardware.  Okay, maybe they didn’t talk, but Rodgers certainly seems to be figuring that out on his own.  The Packers quarterback is already reportedly dating Jessica Szohr, but Jessica hasn’t exactly been able to keep the hotties off of No. 12.  Word has it he was a popular commodity at the Circa Hollywood Dominos Oscar party last Thursday.  Here are some pictures of Aaron Rodgers with Stacy Keibler from Keibler’s twitter:

Now that we know the recent star of the Ellen Show and Keibler were acting like 15-year-old girls updating their Myspace account, we should also note that the NY Post reported Rodgers was “flirting” with Mila Kunis at the same party and both seemed to be very into each other.

Something strange happened at the Super Bowl on Sunday night: the halftime show wasn’t the most pathetic moment of the evening. By no means am I saying the Black Eyed Peas were good, but thanks to a certain athlete-celebrity couple it didn’t take long for viewers to want to rip their eyes out.  Check out the video of Cameron Diaz feeding A-Rod popcorn:

It’s been quite a while since we’ve updated our ever-expanding list of Steve’s smokin’ hot sports girlfriends for you, so we decided that there’s no better time than the final day of 2010 to make an addition.  The Big Lead passed along a tidbit of information from TotalPackers.com that claims Aaron Rodgers is dating actress Jessica Szohr from the TV show Gossip Girl.  We had no problem with Rodgers dating Erin Andrews, but we more than approve of his new lady friend if the rumors are true.

Supposedly Szohr was sitting in Aaron Rodgers’ private box last weekend with Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas, and Rodgers and Szohr attended a Milwaukee Bucks game together the following night.  Dating Jessica certainly warrants the LBS stamp of approval, but hanging out with Joe Jonas?  We’ll just assume Szohr and Greene are good friends and Rodgers was thrust into the situation.  As always, here are some pictures of Rodgers new girlfriend:

Actress/singer/large-toothed person Hilary Duff admits that she frequently sends naked cell phone snaps to her NHL husband, Pittsburgh Penguin forward Mike Comrie.

“Oh boy I’m going to get in trouble… I send [nude] pictures but never with my face in them,” Duff admits. “Gotta keep it fun, gotta keep it interesting. He knows better than to show his hockey buddies or forward them. We are married you know.”

I hate to burst her bubble, but if she keeps her face out of the picture, then Mike is DEFINITELY going to be showing his teammates because they won’t know it’s her.

Wait, but then they might think he’s cheating—and professional athletes never do that. I’m sorry, I don’t know what I was thinking. My bad.

When will it be mandatory for reality stars to get their tubes tied? Apparently, not soon enough. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has a bun in the oven courtesy of  Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, 25, after just five months of dating.

“I was surprised!” admits Kim, who hilariously claims to be 32 years old.  “While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited.”

The pair met during an episode of the series, which aired just this week, and Kim says she can already see a future for them.

“I definitely don’t want to get married while I’m pregnant,” she says. “But I can see myself marrying Kroy in the future.”

That’s funny, we don’t remember him asking.

Regardless of how happy and fulfilled Eva Longoria always seemed to be in her relationship with Tony Parker, who actually thought that their marriage was a good fit? Longoria is a major publicity whore and busy carrying out her acting career. Tony is an NBA player traveling all the time for games. How could that possibly work?

Obviously things didn’t as Longoria filed for divorce in LA citing “irreconcilable differences.” You have to love it because the filing comes a day after a rep denied that Parker had filed for divorce in Texas. That was purely semantics, because if things were going well between the couple then the rep would have outright denied the claim and dismissed the entire notion as false.

The story was big enough for a reporter to ask Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich if the issue would bother Parker, and he responded saying he never has problems getting his players focused. I put much more confidence in Popovich to maintain a locker room than Mike Brown, who reportedly had to deal with another similar situation.

More details came out from US Magazine saying Longoria found hundreds of texts from Tony to and from another woman. People Magazine reports Longoria told her buddy A.C. Slater that she found hundreds of texts from the wife of one of Parker’s San Antonio teammates. Additionally, she says he cheated early in their marriage and still kept in touch with the woman through facebook.

Yikes, the Spurs are rolling at 8-1, but you have to wonder if this report will hurt the locker room. I say there’s a fair chance that happens.

Former 49ers tight end Eric Johnson may have gone to Yale, but it didn’t take an Ivy League education to know that marrying Jessica Simpson was a good idea. As SI Hot Clicks pointed out, the couple got engaged over the weekend. The two met through friends and began dating in May, so you can tell they’ve moved quickly.

Johnson played four seasons with the Niners and one with the Saints, his final NFL stop in 2007. He amassed 240 catches for 2,178 yards and nine touchdowns in his career. Between his relationship with Simpson and Chargers long snapper David Binn’s relationship with Pamela Anderson, we’ve learned you don’t necessarily have to be a star to land a lovely lady.

Whether or not the engagement to Johnson is a response to ex-husband Nick Lachey’s engagement to Vanessa Minnillo the same week is not a concern for us. Neither is the size of the enormous engagement ring that sent the internet in a tizzy. What matters is that Simpson has officially moved on from Tony Romo and that Eric Johnson now joins the illustrious group of athlete-celebrity couples. Congrats to the couple. You give em longer than 24 months?

Serena Williams and rapper Common have had an off-and-on relationship for a couple of years. Despite Common saying he planned to get married back in May (though not specifically to Serena), the couple split later in the month. Serena explained that Common’s demanding schedule made it tough for him to maintain their relationship. Well, only a few months later it seems like the two could not live without one another.

The couple was seen leaving the Patriots/Dolphins game in Miami Monday night. As if that wasn’t enough, Popsugar caught the two hanging out together on the beach and it looks like they were having a good time.

Serena missed the U.S. Open because of a foot injury and has been taking time off to recover. This looks like the type of rehab most people would love to go through.

Good news Cowboys fans: your star receiver may have just what you need to to win the Super Bowl. Miles Austin broke up with Kim Kardashian, according to a report from Radar Online. Apparently Kim K and Miles split up about a week ago and they’re taking some time apart. Kardashian was spotted in Europe which helps confirm the split because she’s known to take trips after breaking up with guys.

Miles on the other hand, is preparing for his home game against the Bears on Sunday. For all we know, this could have happened prior to Dallas’ season opener given Miles’ success; he had 10 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Now some Cowboys fans may be celebrating for the wrong reason. Some fans may have confused the Kim Kardashian effect with the Jessica Simpson effect.

According to teammates, Simpson was a distraction for Tony Romo and he never won when she was around, hence the celebration over the breakup. And if you don’t know what the Kardashian effect is, well, then I’ll leave it to Ty Lawson to explain.
