Brooke Hogan reportedly calls off engagement with Phil Costa

Brooke Hogan, the daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, has supposedly called off her engagement to Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Phil Costa. According to TMZ, the couple broke up a few weeks ago.

Costa proposed to Hogan back in June in Las Vegas. Brooke called the proposal the “happiest moment of my life” at the time and said she could not wait to marry her best friend. Sources reportedly told TMZ that Hogan thought her relationship with Costa was moving too quickly and that she needed some time to focus on her music career, so she decided to call it quits. Brooke is said to have recently moved back to LA to finish her new album and be closer to her mother.

Hulk Hogan, who recently admitted he contemplated suicide in 2007, has been a big supporter of Costa and the Cowboys since the 26-year-old began dating his daughter. Unlike her fake relationship with Bully Ray that ended when TNA parted ways with Brooke, her engagement with Costa was real-world stuff.

Hulk, Brooke Hogan in attendance to watch Dallas Cowboys, Phil Costa

Your favorite wrestler and daughter combination are now Dallas Cowboys fans. Yes, Hulkamaniacs, Hulk Hogan and daughter Brooke were in attendance to watch the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants on Sunday night.

If you’re wondering why they were there, it’s because Brooke is engaged to Cowboys offensive lineman Phil Costa.

Bully Ray now with Brook Tessmacher, rips Brooke Hogan (Video)

TNA Wrestling has quickly found a way to weave the recent release of Brooke Hogan into their storyline. As we told you last week, TNA decided to part ways with Hogan earlier this month after her salary became a luxury the organization could not afford and her storyline had run its course.

Before Brooke — who is Hulk Hogan’s daughter — left, she was married to Aces & Eights president Bully Ray as part of a storyline. In real life, Hogan recently got engaged to Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Phil Costa. Now that Hogan is no longer with TNA, her real-life story was worked into the plot when Bully Ray introduced his new girlfriend, Brooke Tessmacher, on Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling.

“You see the other Brooke, the one who was with the champion — who is now with a guy who sticks his hand up Tony Romo’s ass every sunday — she’s old news,” Bully Ray said. “I kicked her to the side. I’m done with her.”

Tessmacher then removed Bully’s wedding ring with her mouth and began making out with him in the ring.

Poor Romo can’t even avoid people taking shots at him in the wrestling world. As far as the storyline is concerned, Bully Ray moving onto a new Brooke seems to work out for everyone.

Brooke Hogan released by TNA Wrestling

Brooke Hogan has been released by TNA Wrestling, according to multiple reports.

PW Insider reported on Saturday that Brooke, the daughter of Hulk Hogan, was released for two reasons. One, the company believes Brooke had run her course with her storyline. Secondly, her salary was considered a luxury the company could not afford at the time.

Brooke had been married Aces & Eights president Bully Ray as part of a storyline, but they may have believed there wasn’t much for them to develop with the story. In real life, Hogan recently got engaged to Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Phil Costa.

LBS wrestling insider Arsen D. believes Brooke’s release could result in Hulk leaving TNA for the WWE, where he would participate in WrestleMania 30 and possibly pass the torch to John Cena.

In addition to her work with TNA, Hogan is a model, actress and musician.

Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke engaged to Cowboys C Phil Costa

Brooke Hogan, the daughter of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, got engaged to Dallas Cowboys center Phil Costa this weekend.

Hogan and Costa were in Las Vegas when Costa dropped to one knee and proposed. Hogan posted the pictures to her Instagram account on Saturday.

“Happiest moment of my LIFE. I am marrying my best friend. I woulnt choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful,” Hogan wrote on Instagram.

Captioning the photo where Costa is seen slipping a ring on her finger, Hogan wrote, “I look scary but this is the face of total SHOCK.”

Costa appears to have proposed from a spot on the Bellagio property across from the Paris hotel, because the mock Eiffel Tower makes for a sweet background to the photos.

Hogan is a singer, actress and model, and she currently works for TNA wrestling. Costa went undrafted out of Maryland in 2010, but he was signed by the Cowboys. He has played in 23 games over the past three seasons, but has been limited by knee and ankle injuries.
