A lot of things have been said about squash here in America. When I was in college, people used to say it was boring and pointless, but that it provided a tremendous workout. Rarely did I ever hear anyone describe squash as a dangerous sport, but now that I think about it, I can see how it certainly could be.
Although the ball is rubber and has some give, anything that you are trying to whack that hard has the potential to become dangerous. When the world record holder for fastest squash ball ever hit is involved, you might even envision how things could get out of hand in a hurry. That would be especially true if said record holder’s brother volunteered to be drilled in the back with a squash ball.
