Castroneves would love to capture his fourth Indy 500 title by winning the 97th running of the race this Sunday. How badly does he want it? During an interview with “Stoney and Bill” on 97.1 The Ticket on Thursday, Castroneves was asked if he would give up sex with his girlfriend Adriana Henao for an entire year to win the Indy 500 again. Weird question? You bet, and the legendary driver’s initial response may get him into trouble with his better half.
“So that means I can have sex someplace else?” Castroneves asked.
Oh no he didn’t. Castroneves was joking of course (we think), but the hosts clarified that he would have to give up sex altogether — not just with his girlfriend.
“I would not give up Indy, my friend, I’ll tell you that,” he continued. “I think I can handle one year without sex because Indy is Indy.”
Given some of the horrendous sex injuries we have heard about over the past year or so, giving up sex probably wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Fortunately, that’s the point of a hypothetical question. You don’t actually have to follow through with it.
