John Calipari seemingly takes shot at Indiana fans

john-calipariKentucky will likely never play another game at Assembly Hall as long as John Calipari is the coach of the Wildcats. Calipari has expressed a willingness to play Indiana at a neutral site, but he has no interest in a home-and-home series with the Hoosiers. One of the reasons for that dates back to a major upset during the 2011-2012 season.

Indiana defeated then-No. 1 Kentucky back in December 2011. Hoosiers fans went ballistic and rushed the court after the win. Earlier this week, Calipari seemed to take a shot at Indiana fans during his radio show.

“We don’t have obnoxious — well, we may but I never hear them — we don’t treat the other team with disrespect,” Calipari said, via Kentucky Sports Radio. “If we won a game against the No. 1 team in the country in Rupp Arena, would people charge the court? No. You’re supposed to (win). This is Kentucky. We don’t do that here.”

Calipari is not the only head coach in the country who believes his fans should not rush the court, but it seemed pretty obvious that his comments were aimed at Indiana. Calipari does not like the Hoosiers, and I’m sure the hatred is mutual. Unfortunately for Indiana, that hatred has resulted in a quality opponent freezing them out.

Indiana fan stripped to her underwear during Syracuse loss

Indiana fan underwear

Indiana’s 69-52 loss to Syracuse at the Carrier Dome on Tuesday night left one IU fan nearly naked.

Someone at a SyracuseFan.com message board posted the above photo, along with this note:

About 2 minutes left in the game I look to my right and this IU chick is sitting there in her bra and panties. I think she was sobbing a little. She had stripped down almost buck naked. As soon as the horn sounded she slipped her jeans and red IU t-shirt back on.

The photo has gone viral yet somehow the girl in question has yet to be identified. If you know who she is and the story behind her losing her clothes while watching the game, please let us know.

For now, we’re just going to say she lost her clothes as part of some sort of strip poker type of thing.

Indiana home has Christmas lights set to Christian Watford’s buzzer-beater (Video)

A home in Fort Wayne, Ind., has become the envy of Indiana Hoosiers fans everywhere thanks to its amazing Christmas lights display.

The home has an elaborate lights display that is coordinated to the first few seconds of the school’s fight song, followed by the radio play-by-play call of Christian Watford’s memorable buzzer-beater that helped the Hoosiers top No. 1-ranked Kentucky 73-72 last December. The home also has a large IU logo on the roof.

Kentucky beat Indiana in the NCAA Tournament and went on to win its eighth national championship, but that hardly matters to Hoosiers fans who are still commemorating one of the program’s best moments in the Tom Crean era a year later.
