Minnesota coach Jerry Kill suffered a seizure towards the end of his team’s game against New Mexico State Saturday. The first-year coach collapsed during a play and convulsed on the ground before being taken away on a stretcher. Kill thankfully is in stable condition at the hospital after his seizure stopped play on the field for 10 minutes. Here is a video of the frightening moment at the Gophers game:
It is important to note that Kill has a history of seizures. While he was the coach of Southern Illinois in 2005, he had issues with seizures prior to being diagnosed with kidney cancer. He was also hospitalized because of dehydration following a game last season.
