Isaiah Thomas’ dislike of Jerryd Bayless was made evident after the Boston Celtics’ 99-89 win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.
Thomas and Bayless had an incident during the fourth quarter where Thomas tried to block Bayless’ shot and ended up standing on top of him. Bayless pushed Thomas to move him from his disrespectful pose on top of him, and Thomas lost it. It looked like he really wanted to go after Bayless, who laughed in response.
Both were assessed technical fouls for the incident. Thomas shared his thoughts on Bayless after the game.
“I don’t like him,” Thomas said via the Sacramento Bee. “End of story. He’s a fake tough guy.”
The two were actually AAU teammates, and Thomas told The Bee that Bayless knows where the animosity comes from.
Well, Isaiah, that’s nice, but nobody else does. Why not share it with the curious public?
Anyway, for calling Bayless a “fake tough guy,” Thomas sure seemed to be the one acting like an idiot and fake tough guy with the way he went after Bayless. His dislike of Bayless almost seems irrational. What happened, did Jerryd steal your girl or something?
