Joseph Patterson, the man accused of killing Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old son last year, has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and attacking the mother of the deceased child.
According to Keloland.com, Patterson was arrested Wednesday on charges of first-degree kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault, and strangulation.
TMZ says Sioux Falls police responded to a call Tuesday morning and were able to apprehend Patterson. Patterson had been free on $750,000 bond and ordered not to contact the mother of the child or anyone else in the family.
Patterson, 28, who allegedly beat Peterson’s son Tyrese to death, allegedly knocked the victim unconscious and held her captive for more than an hour. The woman allegedly had visible injuries on her neck.
Bond reportedly has been set at $1 million cash only this time. Peterson had only recently found out that the child was his son.
