Boston Bruins rope off locker room logo to prepare for Justin Bieber concert

Bruins-rope-off-logo-Justin-Bieber

Justin Bieber created a stir last week when he visited the United Center and stood on the Chicago Blackhawks logo in the team’s locker room. Bieber is from Canada, so many hockey fans felt he should know that stepping on the team logo is bad luck and considered disrespectful. He insisted it was an innocent mistake.

On Saturday night, Biebs is performing at the TD Garden in Boston. Having learned from the situation in Chicago, the Boston Bruins decided to take no chances and rope off the logo in their locker room so Bieber knows not to walk on it.

Bruins — 1, Bieber — 0.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, this turned out to be a hoax. The Bruins did not rope off their logo and Bieber did not go into their locker room. The photo above is a cropped version of a photo taken last year.

Justin Bieber meets the Stanley Cup

Justin-Bieber-Stanley-Cup

Justin Bieber played a show at the United Center in Chicago on Tuesday night, so naturally he was given an opportunity to pose with the Stanley Cup. Bieber was born in Ontario, Canada, so I’m sure he appreciates the importance of hockey. Despite that, his photo with the Stanley Cup was enough to make sports analyst Michelle Beadle want to lose her lunch.

I don’t know if I feel that strongly about it, but Beadle wasn’t the only one who was annoyed with Bieber’s presence in Chicago this week. According to Minnesota Wild forward Zenon Kenopka, Biebs was also affecting the NHLPA meetings thanks to his insane fan base.

Bieber is moving on to Indiana on Wednesday night, and it sounds like the only ones who are sad to see him go are the Beliebers.

Zenon Konopka frustrated by Justin Bieber fans outside NHLPA meetings

Justin-Bieber-leather-shirtThe NHL Players Association is holding its annual meetings in Chicago this week, and we all know how that goes. We’re talking about a league that has had four lockouts since 1992, so people are always curious about how discussions are going when it comes to offseason meetings. However, the NHL is not the biggest story in Chicago at the moment.

Justin Bieber is playing a show at the United Center on Tuesday night. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bieber’s fan base, it consists of teenage girls who cry at the site of him and collect his toenails and things of that nature. According to Minnesota Wild forward Zenon Konopka, the Bieber fanatics were causing a disturbance at the NHLPA meetings on Monday.

Uh oh. The last thing these guys need is a distraction. I think I speak for all NHL fans when I say I can’t wait for Bieber to get the hell out of town. Where’s former NFL running back Eric Dickerson when you need him?

Justin Bieber reportedly refused to be photographed until Heat dancer came over

Justin-Bieber-leather-shirtAs most of you have probably heard, Justin Bieber was in Miami for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Heat and Indiana Pacers on Monday night. He was absolutely killing it with the outfit he was wearing, and from the sound of it Biebs’ attitude matched the leather shirt he was wearing.

On Thursday, the Miami Herald published a story about a 17-year-old girl who had been sitting next to Bieber during the game. She was not associated with him in any way, but that didn’t stop tabloids and gossip shows from speculating that she was the pop star’s date. The young lady, Haleigh Youtie, also gave this interesting tidbit about Bieber.

Before the Heat game was even over, Youtie, who did post on her social media accounts that Bieber, who refused to be photographed until someone brought a Miami Heat dancer over, wasn’t the friendliest, she was getting threats from rabid fans and, says her mother Eileen, ‘more friend requests than you can count.’”

What does that even mean? The team had to bribe him with a pretty girl just to be able to show the world that he was in attendance? Sounds like someone needs to get a grip of himself before Keyshawn Johnson does.

Justin Bieber balling hard with Miami Heat hat, glossy lips at Game 7

Justin Bieber lip gloss Heat hat

You see that staring back at you? That is the look of a thug. That is thugged out Justin Bieber in his gold chain, black leather shirt, black sunglasses (indoors) ready to throw brass knucks as soon as you say drop. Hard to the freaking core.

Gotta love the tie-dye Miami Heat hat, too. You think Keyshawn Johnson can stand up to that look? Not a chance. You don’t want to mess with the Biebs and his glossy lips.

Bieber does have a message to all you haters:

Eric Dickerson: Justin Bieber needs to ‘slow his ass down’

Eric-DickersonThe NFL is after Justin Bieber. On Tuesday morning, we shared with you an impossibly fantastic story about Keyshawn Johnson chasing down Bieber’s Ferrari in his Prius to confront the young pop star about driving too fast in their Los Angeles gated community. Would you believe us if we told you Johnson isn’t the only former NFL star who is furious at Bieber for his reckless driving?

Shortly after the story about Johnson and Bieber surfaced (in addition to another one from TMZ about the police investigating Biebs for his driving antics), former NFL running back Eric Dickerson let the world know he’s pissed off about it too.

Dickerson, who holds the NFL’s single-season rushing record with 2,105 yards, is another angry resident of Calabasas. It sounds like Johnson was acting for a lot of people when he hunted Bieber down and tried to teach him a lesson. Justin better hire some extra security.

Keyshawn Johnson reportedly confronted Justin Bieber over his fast driving

Justin-BieberKeyshawn-Johnson

Justin Bieber is quickly gaining a reputation as someone who has a lead foot, and former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson has had enough of it. Over the Memorial Day weekend, TMZ reported that Bieber was under investigation after police received two phone calls from different people who live in the upscale Calabasas gated community in Los Angeles who said the pop star was driving like a maniac.

One of the callers was reportedly Johnson, who was furious after he saw Bieber go blazing by in his Ferrari while he was in his own car with his child. On Tuesday morning, TMZ cited sources who say Johnson actually chased Bieber to his home. The former Jets receiver allegedly confronted the Biebs at his house, which led to some fantastic details that we pray are accurate.

We’re told Keyshawn was furious — feeling Justin could’ve killed someone — so he brought his kid home, then chased after the singer in his Prius (yes, a Prius chasing a Ferrari).

When KJ got to Bieber’s pad — he blocked Justin’s Ferrari in the driveway and got out of his car to confront Justin face-to-face … but Justin ran inside of his house and refused to come out.

Come on Justin, you’re better than that. Johnson may tower over Bieber, but this is the same Biebs that is supposed to be close with people like this boxing superstar. If you’re gonna drive like an idiot, you might as well face the music. There was no need to worry — Keyshawn barks louder than he bites.
