Oklahoma’s Kass Everett warned about video game by compliance department

Grand-Theft-Auto-VOklahoma defensive back Kass Everett wanted to get the new “Grand Theft Auto” video game as soon as it came out earlier this week. In typical college student fashion, Everett tweeted that he did not have enough money to buy the game so he would have to wait. Things got entertaining after that.

Former Sooners safety Tony Jefferson, who now plays for the Arizona Cardinals, saw Everett’s tweet and had a funny response. Here is the initial exchange the former teammates had:

It would appear that Jefferson and Everett were joking, but Oklahoma’s compliance department did not want to take any chances. So they stepped in and made sure Everett knew knew he would be receiving improper benefits if he accepted a $60 video game from Jefferson.
