Lindsey Vonn admits she’s ‘a little crazy’

Lindsey-VonnAny woman who would enter into a serious relationship with Tiger Woods after his highly-publicized sexcapades would have to be nuts on some level, right? Fortunately, his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn meets that description.

No, we are not calling the Olympic gold medalist crazy. We’re simply repeating what she said about herself during a recent interview with Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle.

“I’ve got a couple of screws loose, you know, I’m definitely a little crazy,” Vonn told Beadle when discussing her frightening crash from last February. “I love going fast. It’s something I’ve always loved to do. I crash all the time. It’s part of the job description… It doesn’t faze me, it doesn’t bother me. I fell, it was a bigger fall than normal and now I’m getting back up.”

Some would argue that Vonn was crazy to put Davis Love III’s little squirrel friend on Woods’ shoulder during The President’s Cup just to mess with him. Even she admitted that probably wasn’t a great idea.

“It was bad timing on my part,” Vonn said. “He was very concentrated, of course, on his shot and he was more annoyed than anything. But he thought it was really funny. I mean my whole goal was to try to scare him, clearly it did not work.”

So there you have it. If you’re wondering how Tiger and Lindsey have made it so many months despite cheating rumors and constant scrutiny from gossip magazines, you may have your answer. It’s probably a little something like this:

Lindsey Vonn says she trusts Tiger Woods will not cheat on her

Lindsey Vonn Tiger WoodsTiger Woods does not exactly have the best track record when it comes to being faithful in a relationship. Let’s not sugarcoat it — the guy is pretty much the most infamous serial cheater in sports history. Despite that, he and Lindsey Vonn have been in a seemingly happy relationship for several months now. Isn’t Vonn worried that Tiger will stray from the nest?

Believe it or not, C.J. of the Minneapolis Star Tribune actually came out and asked Vonn if she trusts that Woods has been faithful to her.

“Ah, I don’t know,” the Olympic gold medalist replied. “That’s kind of a weird question. But, aah, I mean, you have to trust the person that you’re with and we’re happy and that’s all.”

C.J. noted that the interview awkwardly ended right after that question, so it doesn’t sound like Vonn appreciated it. She already admitted before that she is happy being in a relationship with Tiger but that the media coverage can be intrusive, and asking her if she thinks Tiger is cheating on her is probably the exact type of thing Lindsey was talking about.

Interestingly enough, one gossip report from a month ago claimed Vonn was the one who had been caught cheating on Tiger. Considering they have remained together, we can only assume that report was false. Then again, maybe these two are into some freaky stuff. Who knows?

Amy Mickelson pushes Lindsey Vonn’s golf cart out of mud (GIF)

Amy-Mickelson-Lindsey-Vonn-cartAnyone who reads LBS on a regular basis knows how much we love WAGs. Who doesn’t, right? The only thing we love more than WAGs themselves are WAGs who aren’t afraid to help each other out in a tough situation. Phil Mickelson’s wife Amy did just that for Lindsey Vonn at the President’s Cup on Sunday.

Some nasty weekend weather at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio led to muddy conditions. At one point, Vonn got her golf cart stuck in the mud while trying to drive up a hill. That’s when Amy Mickelson sprung into action (with the help of a course official) and pushed Vonn’s cart to safety. Talk about sportsmanship.

Lindsey Vonn reportedly caught cheating on Tiger Woods

Lindsey Vonn Tiger WoodsMost people who have criticized Lindsey Vonn for dating Tiger Woods do so under the pretense that she will never be able to trust that the World’s No. 1 golfer won’t cheat on her. According to a report from the National Enquirer, Vonn is the one doing the cheating.

Before you go dismissing the story because it appeared in the Enquirer, just remember this is the same publication that broke the Woods sex scandal back in 2009. The report, which was obtained by Radar Online and will hit the shelves on Thursday, claims Vonn was seen making out with someone who was not Woods backstage at a Justin Timberlake/Jay-Z concert in Miami on Aug. 16.

“After the concert was over, Lindsey and a group of female friends, carrying drinks, made their way backstage, and Lindsey spotted a guy she very obviously knew well,” a source reportedly told the Enquirer. “She threw herself into his arms and they started on a long session of deep kissing that went on for several minutes. He was a tall, good-looking man, in his mid-40s, with graying temples. They were really going at it. They were both holding drinks, and Lindsey’s free hand was around his neck, drawing him closer, while his hand was gripping her rear end.”

Yikes. Cue all the “Tiger deserves it” talk, which I guess would be tough to argue.

“Lindsey’s not a nun,” another source told the magazine. “She’s a very physical, very attractive young woman with a very strong athlete’s ego. She wants her own fame – not his. Now it looks like she’s checking out the playing field.”

The last we heard from Lindsey regarding Tiger was when she called him the greatest of all time back on Aug. 4, so we have no way of confirming if the couple was still together as of Aug. 16. It should also be noted that Vonn has indeed expressed frustration with having to live in Tiger’s shadow.

Again, none of this can be confirmed. The only reason we give the Enquirer the benefit of the doubt is because they have earned it when it comes to Woods’ personal life. It will be interesting to see if Vonn is in attendance at the BMW Championship this weekend.

Lindsey Vonn calls Tiger Woods the greatest of all time after Bridgestone

Lindsey Vonn Tiger WoodsTiger Woods put together one of the most dominating performances of his career when he won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational by seven strokes on Sunday. He certainly looked like the Tiger of old en route to his 79th PGA victory. Although, it was his fourth win of the season, so Woods was rounding back into form before that.

Tiger seems to have worked out most of the issues he was having with his game over the last several years, but most people will refuse to pronounce him officially “back” until he wins another major. His girlfriend Lindsey Vonn believes he’s the best ever with or without a 15th major championship.

Most people will continue to call Jack Nicklaus the greatest golfer of all time as long as his record of 18 major victories is safe. Woods could very will catch him, which would cause many to change or reconsider their stance. But for now, it’s nice to see that he has the full support of his significant other.

A group of Tiger Woods fans dressed in tiger costumes followed Tiger around the course at Muirfield at the British Open on Saturday, and Lindsey Vonn decided to take a picture with the gents. The result was photo magic.

Then she put this super lame caption on Instagram:

“Loved the enthusiasm out there today! Tomorrow it’s game time #goTW #tigerfans #cublove”

Elin Nordegren reportedly feels Lindsey Vonn is a ‘good influence on Tiger Woods

Elin Nordegren Lindsey Vonn

Another day, another conflicting gossip report about Elin Nordegren and how she feels about Tiger Woods’ relationship with Lindsey Vonn. Last month, a report claimed that Tiger’s ex-wife “hates” Vonn and everything about the gold medalist’s relationship with the father of her children. A new report indicates that quite the opposite is true.

According to the NY Post’s Page Six, Nordegren feels that dating Vonn has been good for Tiger. A source reportedly told the Post that Elin “really likes Lindsey and thinks she is a very good influence on Tiger.” The source also said Nordegren believes Woods is happy with Vonn and that Lindsey gets along well with the couple’s two children.

We can’t speak for the way Tiger’s life has been going off the golf course, but his game has certainly improved since he took his relationship with Vonn public. He has yet to capture a major since the sex scandal erupted, but Woods already has three wins this season and has shown signs of starting to look like the old Tiger again.

Either one of the two reports about the way Elin feels about Tiger’s new relationship is inaccurate, or she has come a long way over the past month. A previous report from the Post also stated that Vonn waited in a car for an hour while Tiger watched his daughter play baseball, which contradicts with the notion that she gets along well with Woods’ kids. Perhaps that relationship has also progressed.

It’s tough to differentiate truth from fiction with any of these gossip stories, but it’s certainly interesting to hear that Elin has allegedly gone from “hate” to “happy” in just over a month.
