Marcus Vick went ballistic over the George Zimmerman verdict

Marcus Vick is known for sharing strong opinions over Twitter, and nothing elicited a stronger reaction from the former Virginia Tech quarterback than the acquittal of George Zimmerman on Saturday.

Vick started off simply by saying there was no justice done in the case.

Vick then compared the outcome — Zimmerman being acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin — to his brother, Michael, going to prison for running an illegal dog fighting operation:

Vick continued to compare the Zimmerman outcome to other situations:

Marcus Vick sends homophobic tweet about Arizona Cardinals

If ever there were a person who could have their Twitter rights legally stripped from them, it would be Marcus Vick. The younger brother of Michael Vick tweets out some of the most ridiculous things you will ever read, and his homophobic remark about the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week was a prime example.

Marcus-VickAs for what Vick is referring to, we have no idea. There has been some speculation surrounding the sexual preference of free agent safety Kerry Rhodes this week, who played for the Cardinals last season. I suppose that could be what Vick is trying to reference, but we really have no way of knowing. Marcus has put Michael in some incredibly uncomfortable positions in the past with the stuff he tweets, so this isn’t exactly a surprise.

What is somewhat of a surprise — even for Marcus — is that Vick currently has a warrant out for his arrest after failing to appear in court in Virginia over a week ago. He has skipped multiple court dates since promising to pay $40,000 to a woman who sued him in 2008 claiming psychological trauma following an alleged relationship Vick had with her when he was 19 and she was 15. Would you be tweeting under those circumstances?

On second thought, I’m not surprised at all.

H/T Deadspin

Marcus Vick seemingly takes a shot at Andy Reid on Twitter

Marcus Vick may be criticizing the Philadelphia Eagles again on Twitter, only this time he made more of an effort to mask his insult. Philadelphia’s record fell to 3-7 on Sunday at the hands of the Washington Redskins, and quarterback Michael Vick missed the game with a concussion. As a result of the embarrassing loss, Andy Reid’s seat is hotter than ever.

Reid has had to answer questions about whether or not he feels he is about to lose his job or if he would consider resigning. He’s also had to defend himself for playing LeSean McCoy in the fourth quarter of a blowout, since McCoy suffered a concussion with under two minutes to play and the Eagles trailing by 25 points. Michael Vick’s younger brother Marcus tweeted the following on Monday morning:

Marcus went off on the Eagles on Twitter a couple weeks ago, which resulted in Michael apologizing on behalf of his brother and assuring fans and reporters that it would not happen again. The “fat boy” comment didn’t mention the Reid or the Eagles specifically, but I’d be shocked if that’s not what Marcus was referring to.

In the meantime, Nick Foles did not look NFL-ready in his first start against the Redskins. Michael Vick is believed to have suffered a “significant concussion” last weekend, but the Eagles have not ruled out his return for Monday night’s game against the Panthers.

Marcus Vick criticizes Eagles, wants brother Michael traded

Marcus Vick went off on the Philadelphia Eagles over Twitter while watching “Monday Night Football,” demanding that the team trade his brother, Michael.

“Please trade my brother. We requesting out of Philly!!!! Please please please……” he wrote on Twitter during Monday’s game between the New Orleans Saints and Eagles before deleting the tweet.

Marcus later explained why he tweeted that he wants the Eagles to trade his brother.

That trade demand tweet was the first in a series of comments from Marcus criticizing the Eagles. He was particular critical of the team’s offensive line for its inability to protect his brother:

Marcus Vick was served papers at Michael Vick’s violent 30th birthday bash

Remember Michael Vick’s epic 30th birthday party two years ago? Of course you do. That was the one that resulted in a parking lot shootout and one of Vick’s co-defendants in his dog fighting case being shot in the leg after birthday cake was allegedly smashed in someone’s face. According to a report Saturday by the Daily Press, that wasn’t the only fun that went down at the party.

Vick’s younger brother Marcus Vick was allegedly served legal papers shortly before the gunfire broke out at the night club. Marcus was served with the paperwork because he never paid a settlement to a teenage girl who alleged he had sex with her during his playing days at Virginia Tech. (In case you didn’t know — not unlike his brother — trouble tends to follow Marcus).

After 15 process servers — all male — declined his request because they didn’t want to get involved with the Vicks (can’t imagine why), the teenage girl’s lawyer, Kristopher Olin, enlisted the help of a specialized process serving company that focuses on “highly evasive, high profile cases.” Wearing “cute semi-formal dresses,” the company’s female owner and a friend attended the “all-white attire” soiree to personally undertake the job.

Around 12:30 a.m., the two made their way to Marcus and handed him a red metal box, which he thought was a gift for his brother. The women explained that it was meant for him and inside was a legal summons, prompting a female friend of Marcus’ blew up at the women.

“She came after both of us,” the company’s owner said. “She was screaming at us in the middle of the bar, but we … walked out the door.”

Despite the covert operation, Marcus still never showed up for his court hearing and now has a warrant out for his arrest. That’s not to be confused with the other warrant reportedly out for him after he failed to serve a 10-day jail sentence on a contempt of court charge. Because you’re not a member of the Vick family if you’re living a monotonous life.

Marcus Vick Avoids the Spotlight

It’s almost like a law. If you are a member of the Vick family, you must have a brush with local authorities at least once a year or they remove you from the lineage and strip you of your last name. Marcus Vick continued to prove why he’s Michael’s younger brother, getting arrested for DUI on Friday. The best part was that Vick was initially stopped by a bicycle cop because he was having an issue with a female. Showing complete disdain for a bicycle cop — as well he should — he sped off before finally being chased down minutes later.

Not one for bland times, Marcus failed a field sobriety test (apparently he doesn’t talk to Cedric Benson), and was charged with DUI, misdemeanor eluding police, reckless driving, driving on the wrong side of the word, and driving with a suspended license. That is quite the laundry list of activities. Talk about an exciting Thursday night. And I thought things were bad when he flashed a gun at a McDonald’s to kids who were making fun of him. Boy did I underestimate Mr. Vick. By the way, I wonder what he’s doing to support himself these days.
