Marisa Miller, Katherine Webb highlight hottest women of the 2013 ESPYs

Why do I love the ESPYs? Like many others, I enjoy reliving some of the best highlights from the sports year. Awards like Best Game, Best Play and Best Moment bring back a roller coaster of emotions for everyone from casual fans to diehards. But that’s only part of it.

There are also the women. Between the celebrities and WAGs, the ESPYs provide us with some of the best people-watching of the calendar year. Those who demolish the red carpet deserve credit for it, so we’ve decided to rank them for you. Here are your hottest women of the 2013 ESPYs.

Hope-Solo-ESPYs

10. Hope Solo — Maybe I can’t get past the fact that she’s bats*** crazy, but I’ve never been a big fan of Hope. I wasn’t a big fan when she was in ESPN the Magazine’s “Body Issue” and that hasn’t changed much, but I know others like her.

Ranking the Women of the ESPYs

The 2010 ESPY Awards have come and gone without much to do or buzz surrounding the event.  Surprise, surprise.  Seth Meyers was certainly a bright spot.  The host and SNL star killed it with his monologue and told a great Greg Oden joke that flew over almost everyone’s head.  Chris Johnson’s get-up was questionable at best, but there’s at least one in every crowd, right?

Thankfully, the lovely ladies pictured above were in attendance along with plenty of other red carpet jaw-droppers.  With so many woman putting such an extensive amount of effort into making themselves look their best for the occasion, it wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t rank them accordingly.  Therefore, we’ve put together a list of the hottest women at the 2010 ESPYs that I’m sure you can debate until you’re blue in the face.  Here’s what we came up with:

So Marisa Miller and Ryan Braun Made a Commercial and … Yeah

There’s no doubt you can put a few athletes and big names together in a commercial and have it be a success. That by no means is a rule as we’ve come to find out. Take for instance this highly anticipated, online-only commercial for Remington, featuring super model Marisa Miller and slugger Ryan Braun. You would figure anything featuring Marisa Miller would be hard to screw up, but I think the producers of this commercial managed to do it. Judge for yourself:

I think Jimmy Traina at SI put it best: “First, the spot is 2-plus minutes, a little long for a commercial. Second, the acting, dialogue and double entendre’s is on par with what you’d see in a porno (not that we’d know).” I agree with both points. I would also add that you don’t find out until the last 30 seconds what product is actually being advertised. When you’re putting together a commercial, getting across exactly what you’re advertising would probably be the top priority. Maybe not in this case. And was that my boy Matt Money Smith doing the narrating? I think so!

Marissa Miller Is the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Cover Girl

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been waiting patiently to replace last year’s SI swimsuit edition in your collection. Lord knows we could all use some new bathroom material. And I do have to say, the 2007 edition was somewhat misleading, if not disappointing. Beyonce graced the covers which is ordinarily a blessing, but in this case she hardly showed any skin which wasn’t too conducive for our purposes. This year however, it will be stellar model Marissa Miller on the cover. Heck, they even produced a billboard of her in NYC that was revealed on Letterman. Another cool item this year is that select NFL cheerleaders will be featured as well. And just for those still debating whether or not they’re going to hit the newsstand, here’s a little sneak preview of the cover shoot:
