Earlier this year, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and an Oklahoma State defensive back began dating via a series of events that would only make sense in Hollywood. The story began on Nov. 24, 2012, when Oklahoma State was heading into overtime of an eventual 51-48 overtime loss to Oklahoma. It was just before OT began that Cowboys cheerleader Jordan Daigle first caught sight of Zack Craig.
Craig, a safety, has played mostly special teams during his first three years at Oklahoma State. The week before the overtime game against the Sooners, he blocked two punts against Texas Tech and returned one of them for a touchdown. That inspired the coaching staff to name him a captain against Oklahoma, so he participated in the coin tosses before the game and before overtime.
