Video: Rafael Nadal Goes Between-the-Legs on Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic likely couldn’t care less how many incredible shots Rafael Nadal put on him at Sunday’s Madrid Mutua Open final. Djokovic won the match and was crowned champion, which is why he has no problem letting people like us sweat the small stuff.  That is perfectly fine with us, because you’ll definitely want to see how Nadal took a page out of Roger Federer’s book (see shot A and shot B) on Sunday while he was battling it out with Djokovic.  Check out the Rafael Nadal between-the-legs shot video, as pointed out by SB Nation:

Take it from someone who is terrible at tennis but has attempted the between-the-legs shot just to see what all the fuss is about: you’ll hurt yourself if you try.  The fact that people like Federer and Nadal can pull it off with relative ease is amazing to me, even if our commenters have accused me of overreacting in the past.

So overrated. No different than a blind double play or a 1 handed football catch. yea great play but they can all do it given the right circumstances

I’ve wondered why they even do it. Can’t tell me it wouldn’t be easier to just step around and hit a normal shot.
