It is amazing that Nadal could win this five setter less than two days after his epic five set win over Fernando Verdasco. However, the US Open is a different animal. The surface is much faster than the Australian, and Rafa has had a multitude of problems trying to run down faster shots. I hate to say this, but the better man won.
