Blind Man Max Ashton Threw First Pitch Strike Before Game 4 in Arizona (Video)

Prior to Game 4 of the NLDS between the Diamondbacks and Brewers in Arizona, blind man Max Ashton threw out the first pitch. The young man threw a perfect strike too, doing a better job than many other folks who attempt to throw out the first pitch. His attempt was even better than former Diamondbacks World Series hero, Curt Schilling.

In case you were wondering about this, blind people can play baseball. The ball they use makes a beeping sound, so participants judge the proximity of the ball based on sound. Seems difficult, but that’s how they get it done.
