High school football special teams player Ryan Potter has hilarious mixtape (Video)
A high school football player with a great sense of humor put together the best highlight mixtape we have ever seen.
The player’s name name is Ryan Potter, and he is a cornerback/backup kicker at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tenn. The youngster has a clear gift for self-deprecating humor.
Some of the highlights on Potter’s mixtape include:
- – Beating his teammates downfield on kickoff coverage for touchbacks
– Colliding with teammates
– Being knocked over by blockers
– Successfully kicking a routine extra point
– Getting pancaked as ballcarriers pass him
– Making a squib kick
– Chasing a kick returner and whiffing on the tackle
The video is expertly edited. Every time you see a cool play happen on the field, you’re expecting the spotlight to be on the guy who made the play. Not in this video, where the delayed spotlight shines on some guy way out of the picture who’s laying on the ground. Between the deception and thumping beats, it’s incredible.
Potter also seems to have a pretty good sense of humor over Twitter. Check out what he tweeted to Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron:
@10ajmccarron where can i get an upper-body/chest tattoo like yours?

Here’s the AJ McCarron tattoo responsible for the tweet. Well played Ryan, well played.
