Manny Ramirez has still (somewhat) got it.
The retired 12-time All-Star slugger Ramirez went viral on Wednesday for a brief video of him taking batting practice. MLB reporter Hector Gomez shared video of the very relaxed session, which appeared to have been filmed in Ramirez’s native Dominican Republic.
Take a look.

While there was a lot of fluff in that video, Ramirez did produce at least one very nice swing and launched the ball way out into orbit. That baseball must have traveled a really long way.
Even if it has been nearly a decade-and-a-half since we last saw him at the MLB level, Manny is still being Manny. He will turn 52 next month and may need to have a swing-off at some point with his son who recently signed with a top SEC school.
