The New Orleans Pelicans appear to be very serious about moving on from Brandon Ingram this summer.

The Pelicans are actively shopping Ingram to other teams, according to a notes column from Kelly Iko of The Athletic. The Pelicans floated a potential swap of Ingram for Alperen Sengun, but the Houston Rockets showed no interest in that.

In addition, the Pelicans are said to have offered Ingram to the Philadelphia 76ers. It does not sound like there is significant traction for a trade at this time, though.

Ingram seems increasingly certain to be traded this summer. The 26-year-old is seeking a max contract that would pay him $52 million annually, but the Pelicans are reluctant to pay him that much. As such, they have been making it known for some time that the forward could be available in a trade. Of course, any team acquiring him would have to give up significant assets to the Pelicans, and they would probably be expected to give Ingram the contract he is seeking.

Ingram averaged 20.8 points per game this season and is regarded as a quality scorer and a player with a grounded locker room presence. Other aspects of his game are seen as more limited, however, which could impact his value.
