Watch: Chris Bosh has jersey retired by Miami Heat

Chris Bosh

Chris Bosh is now the fourth player in Miami Heat history to have his jersey retired by the franchise.

The Heat bestowed the ultimate honor on Bosh by raising his No. 1 jersey to the rafters of American Airlines Arena during a special ceremony on Tuesday.

The team also created a tribute video showing some of Bosh’s memorable moments with the organization.

Bosh spent six seasons in Miami and was part of two championship winning teams. He ranks fifth in franchise history in points (6,914), seventh in rebounds (2,816), and seventh in blocks (332). He remains active in helping the team’s players.

Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning are the other Heat players to have their jerseys retired by the team. Dwyane Wade’s day should come soon after his retirement at the end of the season.
