Derrick Rose clears waivers, now free to sign with any team
Derrick Rose has cleared waivers and is now free to sign with teams.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Monday that Rose had cleared waivers.
Rose was waived by the Utah Jazz over the weekend after being acquired as part of a three-team trade involving the Kings and Cavaliers on Thursday.
The Timberwolves and Wizards are among the teams that were reported to have interest in signing the 29-year-old guard once he cleared waivers.
Rose is averaging 9.8 points per game this season in limited minutes.
